Love poems are not very often used by men to express love. Poems express ideas, experiences or emotions in a more concentrated form than ordinary articles, prose or speech.
Since a death is always associated with a painful loss, poems should be in an uplifting and inspirational tone. Poems work especially well if you re the shy sort who finds it difficult to express love without feeling shy or embarrassed. Short and simple love poems work best for me.
The memorial poem could be about an event in the loved one's life or just loving words of a close friend. Today a lot of lovers are in long-distance relationships, and there s no better way to gap that distance than mailing poems that show how much you love and miss your sweet heart. To quote a lover s words, to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
Forget all that stuff you learned in school and just write. Put it on his or hers pillow with a rose.
